TTF designs and fabricates custom heavy-duty rear crossmember and towbar assemblies for 10t, 26t, 34t and 45t towing applications, including medium and heavy rigid trucks, tippers, plant transporters, car carriers and other commercial combinations.
Assemblies can be developed to accept Ringfeder, Rockinger, Bartlett ball, pintle hook and other approved coupling systems. The required towbar rating is selected for the specific truck, trailer and coupling arrangement, with 10t, 26t, 34t and 45t configurations available where suitable. The layout is engineered around chassis width, rear overhang, body and tailgate clearances, coupling position and the required truck-trailer combination.

Towbar Integration with Truck Bodies & Car Carriers
Where the truck is also receiving a new body or tray, TTF can develop the towbar and body installation together so the rear crossmember, coupling height, body structure and chassis mounting work as one package.
This is particularly useful for custom truck bodies and trays, car carrier truck-and-trailer combinations, beavertail bodies and applications requiring a chassis extension. The towbar can be developed around the final rear overhang, body clearances and towing geometry rather than added after the body has been completed.
Engineering & VASS Certification
TTF can manage the towbar from initial layout through to fabrication, installation and engineering and certification. For heavy vehicle applications, this can include 3D CAD, structural calculations or FEA, VSB6 P1 assessment, ADR 62/02 compliance and VASS certification for the completed installation where applicable.
